Forty years of welding, fabrication, and integration.

Lake Process Systems delivers welding and fabrication services for process equipment and systems, ranging from simple modifications and batch setups to more complex continuous operations. Systems can be built to specification, skid mounted, pre-piped, and tested to help simplify installation and startup. Our experience covers both pilot-scale R&D equipment and full production systems, with a focus on practical, reliable design.

Based in the Chicagoland area and in business for over 40 years, Lake Process Systems has built long-term relationships by supporting a wide range of industrial processing needs locally and nationwide. We also offer cutting and inspection capabilities, along with the ability to travel across the country for service, installation, and support.

In addition to complete systems, Lake Process Systems manufactures, installs, and repairs key components in-house, including heat exchangers, tanks, holding tubes, and conveyors. We also handle a range of fabrication work such as valve manifolds, pump bases, carts, platforms, and custom stainless assemblies. The emphasis is on consistent quality, solid workmanship, and practical solutions that fit the application.

CIP Systems

Lake Process Systems provides CIP (Clean-In-Place) and COP equipment as part of our broader process fabrication work. Systems range from fully integrated skid mounted units to portable setups, all built with the same attention to fabrication quality and practical design used across our equipment line. We build systems for a variety of applications, including single-use, dual-use, rinse recovery, and motive return configurations depending on process needs.

Our CIP systems include options such as compact “pot and pump” units and multi circuit designs for facilities with higher demand. We also build wash re-use and rinse recovery systems where water and chemical usage is a concern, along with motive return setups that reduce the need for additional return pumps. COP tanks and parts washers are also available with options for heating and basic customization based on application requirements.

Lake Process Systems is built on a strong foundation of precision tank fabrication, delivering durable, sanitary vessels that meet or exceed 3A and USDA standards. Known for heavy-duty construction, smooth finishes, and fully customizable designs, our tanks are engineered for long-term performance and reliability. Our legacy includes pioneering advancements in balance tank design that helped shape modern sanitary processing standards—an example of the innovation and attention to detail we bring to every project.

Today, we offer a full range of holding tanks and advanced processors with modular configurations for mixing, heating, cooling, and more. We also provide high-efficiency beverage concentrate modules designed for rapid, consistent blending of liquids and powders—helping streamline production and improve overall operational efficiency.
